David is a Puggle

David started Awanas at our church yesterday. He is now a puggles. (Puggles is the penguin mascot for the 2 year old class). He seemed to love it. Mommy is so glad Ms. Karen is his teacher.

David goes to school

David started a 2 year old program at the little school last week. He will go 2-3 days a week. He seems to have fun. A lot of his church friends are in his class.

Ready for school (his shoes were in the car)

He came home with a red "A" and a red circle on his hand.

Family Vacation

Last week Tim, David and I took a family vacation to Chattanooga, TN. We left last Saturday. Tim had a conference in Pigeon Forge, so his friend picked him up on Wednesday. David and I continued on our vacation to Georgia. We stayed a few days with Traci, Mark & Natalie. (My battery went out in our camera, that is why there aren't pictures from the visit). Then on Friday, we went to Trey, Beth, Margaret & Meredith's house. It was a really long week, but we had a lot of fun. Hope you enjoy the pictures.
Rock City was our first stop on our family vacation. We all had a great time.

A Trip to the Children's Museum in Chattanooga.

Coloring my face?

I thought a brick couch on the side of the street was blog worthy.

We rode the Incline Railroad. This was my first experience. I was a little scared at first, but I made it through. David, of course, loved it.

A Trip to Ruby Falls.
David wasn't a big fan of Ruby Falls. It was a guided tour in an underground cave, so there was a lot of stopping and listening. Luckily, we had stopped for gas right before and I bought some M& M's. The M&M's made the tour durable. Daddy & Mommy had a lot of fun remembering family vacations to Ruby Falls that they took as children. We loved to be able to share some experiences we had a children with David.

The famous waterfall is behind us, but you really can't see it unless you look close.
David loved all the trains in Chattanooga. One night at supper all we heard was David say "Ride Choo Choo". So of course the next day we went to ride a Choo Choo. We found an hour train ride (it stopped and turned around-so it was only about a 30 minute ride). David loved it. After we got off, he still wanted to ride a choo choo.

Vacation to Cartersville. David loved playing with his cousins Margaret & Meredith. We are so glad we were able to visit and spend time with them.
