David gets a swing set!!! YEAH!!

I finally talked Tim into getting a swing set for David. Tim and I put the fort together on Thursday night. Uncle Brad and Tim finished it on Saturday.

David loves it. He gets excited every time he sees it. He says "Wow, swing set". Like he doesn't believe it is really in our backyard.

David watching Thomas the Train

Grandparent's Day

David had Grandparent's Day at school today. Grammy (Hollie's mom) and Paw-Paw (Tim's dad) had to work. We missed them, but we were glad Gram (Tim's mom) and Paw-Paw (Hollie's dad) were able to make it. We are very thankful and blessed to have two sets of wonderful grandparents in David's life.

Trying to reach something in the tub

Don't worry, the tub was empty. He did reach his toy thought.

Thomas the Train

David's great grandmother bought him this train set for Christmas when David was only 6 months old. I have kept it in his closet (out of reach) until recently, when I thought he might be old enough to enjoy it. His first train set will always be special, because it was the last gift my grandmother gave him.

A Tired Little Boy

This is something that hardly ever happens (especially at 7:30 at night). We don't know if he was just worn out from the week or if he was feeling bad.

Hurricane Gustav

We had to find some way to entertain ourselves when the lights (and electricity) went out.

Like Father, Like Son

No denying who this child looks like.

David's bed

A few people were wondering how David's car bed fit into his big bed, so here is a picture. I don't know what we are going to do when he gets his big boy bunk bed.

What would David look like as a girl??

I am so glad David is a boy.
Could you tell we were bored on day in the car?
