David likes to go 4-wheeler riding. We rode around for a while and then Paw-Paw took Mommy and I to count cows. It was a lot of fun.

A very sad and difficult 2 weeks

It has been a very difficult 2 weeks with lose of both of my Grandparents. It gives me great joy to know that they are in heaven together with their Savior and also their baby boy, David Jr. We love them so much and they will be missed greatly.

We are so happy that we were able to meet the newest addition to the family. Elizabeth is beautiful. David can't wait to play with her.

Play time

David and I went to grandma's house yesterday. David and his cousin Lauren were able to play together for a little while. They had a lot of fun.

David has been a busy little boy the past week. His first tooth has come in and he is working on the second one. This isn't the best picture, but holding a 8 month old down to take a picture of the inside of his mouth is not an easy task.

David has learned (well, when he wants to) to give an open mouth kiss on the check.

Remembering Great Grandpa

As many of you know, my grandfather went to be with Jesus on Valentine's Day. David will always have a special connection with him, since David was named after him. We are very honored to be able to name David after such an incredible man.

David is doing a lot better in his car seat. We can take trips now without him screaming. He actually falls asleep. This has been a blessing. We will put him to the test in a few weeks when he is in the car for 9 hours to go to Georgia to see his cousins.

Poor Elmo

David seem to have found his strength this week. As you can see from the picture one of the toys is already missing and Elmo is hanging on for his life. Life is interesting with a little boy.

Brent, Dana, Laynie & Emmy came to visit us last weekend. It was a lot of fun. David really enjoyed playing with the girls.

Mommy put David's highchair together all by herself today. He thinks his Mommy did a wonderful job. David doesn't like green beans as much as he likes other things; that is why he has more on his face than in his mouth.
