David has been asking for the Easter Bunny to bring him flip-flops. The other day at Walmart he saw Spiderman flip-flops, but they didn't have his size. After he was excited about the Easter bunny bringing him some flip-flops, but then this is how the conversation went after:
David: I wanted some spiderman flip-flops.
Mom: The Easter Bunny doesn't make flip-flops and he had to buy them from the store, but they didn't have your size.
After thinking about this for a moment....
David: Well Santa Claus can bring me my spiderman flip-flops because he makes them.
Luckily when we told this story to Gram, she said maybe he could get them for his birthday instead of Christmas. Thankfully Gram remembered that although Santa Claus could make flip-flops in the winter he probably wouldn't have the material. =)
